Local Tangueros featured in Elizabeth Banks’ Allure Photo Shoot

Several Los Angeles Tangueros were featured in a 1920s style cover shoot with actress Elizabeth banks. Alpine milonga closes; others going strong

Milongas open and they close, some within a month, others after a couple of years. Of the four that opened last month, one has closed temporarily. Alpine Village Tango Night organizers are in negotiations with the proprietor of that establishment, and they may be back by summer. With more than 20 milongas and practicas in the Los Angeles area (25 milongas according to Stephane Hamel), and perhaps about 150 to 200 regular dancers (maybe not even that many), do we need more?
